Zoom Problem

When i create a new document its 8.33% zoom (document is 300×100) but if i zoom in 100% it makes the document 10 or more times bigger can you help?

Just kidding… Actually, that’s how it is supposed to work. You are seeing that behavior because the document you made is much larger than can fit on your monitor. So Photoshop opens it at the 8.33% zoom to fit it all on your screen. If it opened it at 100%, you couldn’t see the whole thing.

Create your document at 300×100 pixels, not inches/centimeters/miles/etc…

By the way, I’d recommend spending some time with the help files provided with Photoshop to get used to setting up a document.

Oh yeah, while you are reading up on setting up documents, don’t forget to look up Resolution as well.

One of the first things that I did when I just started Photoshop was to sit down and read the manual. You can do the same thing with the help files, and believe me, it will help.
