Corel Knockout – A Better Program? Hints? Suggestions?

Thanks to all who helped me out on the stroke issue. It helped immmensely.

Now for the next question.

Is there a better program then Corel KNockout for getting rid of backgrounds? I’ve tried it and the QuickMask (within PS) and it’s very time consuming (when hair is invloved) and was wondering what the rest of you do when trying to get rid of backgrounds?
