When typing the text is pixelated. It is pixelated on the screen and when it is printed. It happens in all fonts and font sizes. It is still pixelated after the text has been rasterised.
I have reset the preferences but it hasn’t helped.
I am using version 6.0.

makes sure your resolution is up around 300ppi (image> image> size> resolution).

you can also play around with the anti-alias options of the text. not sure what was there exactly in 6, but i think there was at least "strong", "smooth", "crisp", etc…
