Hi,
Can anyone help? I have my camera (Canon 20D) set to take RAW images but when I download them into Photoshop (CS2) they appear as JPEGS & any thing relating to RAW is greyed out in the Bridge. I must be doing something obviously wrong but I haven’t a clue what. I’ve looked at tutorials but they just tell me how to adjust a RAW document, if only I could get that far. Please help, but keep it simple.
Cheers

you need to the latest raw converter.

If you email me, I will send you the latest one.

Email address – change the username to rudy, bit_bucket will not do it. The domain is rudybenner.com

Hi Eric,

Download the latest version of Camera Raw, v3.3. The EOS 20d is supported as of version 3.2
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3271

If you believe you have this version installed already, run the AcrChecker utility and post the results here.

The 20D was supported in ACR 2.4, therefore also in ACR 3.0 delivered with CS2.

It sounds more like a placement problem than a version problem – hopefully ACRChecker will find the problem.
