Photoshop 6 batch error – cannot recognize the file extension

Hello,

I am using MacOS9 + Photoshop 6 and I want to batch convert IVUE-files in other file format. There is an import plugin which works fine but if I define an action and try a batch process I get every time the error

Error: Could not complete your request because Photoshop cannot recognize the file extension. (-25600)

What can I do? Thanks for hints!!

Hi Günter,

You do define the action using the plugin to open the
to-be-imported-file, right ?
If you just use Open, it might not utilize the plugin at all ?

Hello,

PS don’t know IVUE Files so Open is not an option
therefore the plugin exists.
