I have a client who wants the font used in an ad on www.weather.com . The add appears just below The Weather Channel logo and says "Wedding Week". I have searched many font sites and cannot find it.

What is the name of the font and where can I download it?

I have already tried that site but since the font is used in a Flash movie I cannot copy it.

i tried it with a screenshot, worked a little bit on it, sent this to www.myfonts.com, got the following 2 results out of 86 myfonts displayed:

http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/zapfino-extra/forte-on e/

http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/typotheticals/italican-script/r egular/

you have to be a little bit enthusiastic …

The closest I have been able to come to that exact script is "Palace Script MT" and "Vidaldi" and may well be a deviation on one of them.

If you are doing this for money, you should pay for your tools. Pass the cost of the typeface along to your client.

If you are not doing it for money, then buy the font or don’t use it.

Zapfino is not freeware. You may be able to find a font that looks similar for free, but if you see a site advertising Zapfino itself for free, it’s bootleg pirated software.

It has been my experience that free fonts are worth exactly what you pay for them.
