Hi,
I’m trying to type Japanese characters in Photoshop and Illustrator. I used to be able to go to the language bar, select JP and the input and just write and the japanese characters would appear. I didn’t need the Open text stuff as suggested in the built in help files. I had it working before but had to reformat and lost all settings and now I don’t know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
I’m using Windows XP Home, Photoshop CS, and I believe all the other Japanese Language support is installed since I can type in the japanese characters with other programs like MS WORD.

Thanks’
Justin

All you need to do in Photoshop CS is select a Japanese font and type in Japanese characters….
