What Video Card best in Photoshop CS?

I’ll be ordering a new Dell Dimen. 8600 with 3.6 Ghtz, 80 GB SATA Drive with 1 GB RAM within the next couple of days. For my choice of Video cards I have the 2 following choices: #1-128MB PCI Express x 16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out)ATI Radeon x300SE. #2- 256MB PCI Express x 16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) ATI Radeon x800XT. The 256 mb card is $390 more than the 128mb card (price doesn’t scare me). I’m not a game person, I just use my PC for Photoshop. What card would have the best effect in Photoshop, if any?

none of the above. those choices are all about gameing. photoshop doesn’t use 3d memory so any of those cards will be fine. personally though, i’m partial to ATI.

Thank you Dave, I ordered the 128mb card with 2 gb of ram. BTW I meant the Dell Dimen 8400 not 8600.
