I’ve just installed Photoshop CS and immediately came across something I _really_ dislike: floating toolbars that aren’t linked to the main program window. You can see this behavior when you resize and move the main Photoshop window. The toolbar and palette windows remain where they were are and now clutter the Windows XP desktop.
I’ve been trying to find an option that would keep the toolbar and palette windows where they belong: in Photoshop and not on my desktop, but so far I haven’t been able to find a solution. Is there one?
BTW I really don’t understand the rationale behind these free floating windows, but then again I also abhor personalized menus and the Single Document Interface.
