Associating actions with Keys

This should be an easy one for some. I have 3 actions that I use 100s of time a day. How would I individually associate them with keys? Any tutorials on this? I usually run by mouse/play button, but having them associated with keys would speed up work greatly. I would look it up in the manual, but some coworker thought they needed it more than I.

Any help greatly appreciated!
