Open Folders, View Settings & How to make PS CS Remember

When I do, File … Open …the Open Dialog Box ALWAYS comes up with the files listed by NAME.

How can I set PS CS so the Open Dialog Box will ALWAYS come up with Details View and the files are sorted by DATE MODIFIED?

Also how can I set the Dialog Box SIZE so it will ALWAYS be the same each time I Open?

I can do this in Win XP but it does not work in PS CS!!! Why?

Please help.

That’s an OS issue, not a Photoshop issue.

OK. So if it "IS" an OS issue:

I STILL ask: "WHY does it work with in XP
(particularly Windows Explorer)
and NOT work in PS CS?
