I’ve been a Photoshop Elements 2.0 user for about 2 years now and I’m currently in the middle of the CS tryout version.
The added features in CS will make it extremely difficult to go back to Elements. I think I’m ready to make the jump.
Here is where I need a little help and input on the subject.
My budget won’t allow the $600+ to purchase the full retail version. But I can swing an older version and the CS upgrade.
I’ve been looking on ebay and it looks like you can purchase 3.0 or 4.0 for less then $100. But what do you look for to make sure your not getting ripped off. I want to make sure I do this right and legal.
Do you have to have an unregistered version?
What if the seller can’t or won’t transfer ownership?
Can the academic version be upgraded to a regular version? Some descriptions are easy to see right through as far as authenticity, but some are harder to tell, what questions should be asked to make sure your not getting a bogus copy?
I know this is a long winded question, so thank you in advance for any input you can give me.
