I am living in Pakistan here I joined the office to do some little work for only 2 months for the frist time here I have request to make icon for application which be place in the system icon tray I have make icon 3D so please send your message as quickly as possible and if you have any question so tell me. Please tell me step by step and if any other software
in your mind which can be useful for this purpose so tell it to me.

To open/save files in Windows Icon (.ICO) format, you can use my plugin, available here <http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/#icoformat>. (It supports 1-bit and XP-type alpha transparency.)

I don’t know how much it will help, but I wrote the following article on creating icons in Photoshop < http://www.apcmag.com/apc/v3.nsf/0/1A68968A5DDEA443CA256D440 01A47D2>. The article has several suggestions regarding icon tools, but the aforementioned plug-in (#2 above) is as good as any — and free ;-).
