Hi,

How can I create layer effects without rounded corners? For instance, I want to apply an outside stroke, but I want angled corners instead of round corners, but I can’t seem to find a way to do it.
Can anyone help me out?

Best regards,
Norberto Henriques

Have you tried using a square brush?
Since a stroke is just an automatic paint around the edge of the selection, that should work.

No, I’m not using the stroke command, but the stroke in the layer effects.

The only way to do that would be to create the stroke in Illustrator, or use a square brush.

Layer effects will not do that effect. You could put a request in in the feature requests section, though. It’s a great idea.
