I want to upgrade my graphic card to increase speed in PS 6.01 I’m not interested in gaming and money is an issue. What should I look for & how should I proceed with my search.

What kind of graphic card do you have, that it is causing speed performances? PS is not an application where a fast graphic card generally improves the program performance. Faster processor, more RAM, and more hard disk space, in that order, are the usual cures for speeding up PS.

If you have money to spend, spend it on more system RAM. Unless your display looks utterly horrible running Photoshop, or you can’t get the monitor resolution or refresh rate you prefer from your old one, there’s no reason to upgrade your graphics card.
