Hi

I have resized 36 pictures to 228.5dpi 7" x 5" in photoshop which is fine. I now want to put 2 up on a A4 sheet.
When I create a A4 sheet in photoshop then drag and drop the 2 images on they resize to about 6"x 5"

I imported the pictures from my 2.3 megapixel camera into photoshop then changed the resolution to 228.5 that made the pictures 7" x 5" using the best resolution available.

is there a batchj process for converting images to a resolution that will make the picture roughly 7" x 5" so that I can crop them to exactly 7"x5"

Mark,

When I create a A4 sheet in photoshop then drag and drop the 2 images on
they resize to about 6"x 5"<<

They won’t if you make the A4 the same ppi as the images when you create it

Mark,

Sorry, but you couldn’t have. To give a pasted image at 228.5 7" x 5" to display at 6 x 4.3 the A4 MUST have been at 261 to 265.7 ppi (and one of your dimensions is incorrect – 7.5 x 5" is a different aspect ratio to 6 x
4.3)
