My Windows installation has been messed up and I have to reinstall. I’m possibly going to lose two programs in the process. One of them I don’t care about (too much), but the other (Photoshop) I have to care about.
I have access to the hard disk (through Linux) and I can rescue all my files. I’m hoping to pull off the registry files where Photoshop has stored whatever information it stores in the registry so that I keep all my settings and so that I don’t have to buy a new Photoshop (I don’t have the serial). Having said that, let me make clear: I’m *not* asking for a serial! Okay, now that that’s over…
Does anybody know where Photoshop puts its registry settings, both relative to the registry and on the file system?
Thanks.
