Hi, I have an elderly friend whos scanner interface greys out the scan buttons , been fine for years until usb pci card added which may have caused this, or loose cable that was found. Anyhow we have tried disabling all usb pci card entries in DevMgr, then zapping and re-installing the Color Factory Pro scanner interface and all goes well, then when go Import>twain32, get choice of ports etc. Tried them all, no joy. Require scan of install and configuration guide please and can supply email.
Also will try removal of card, but going to need that guide either way.
Card installer coming to remove card so perhaps with guide, can get him back on the rails ! Envirographics
