Hi,
How can I get a line to wrap in PD CS3?

I have tried using the enter key on a line of text and I have also tried to make a text box and write in it but it still does not wrap.

Is there a place where In turn on word wrapping?

Thanks

AFAIK, all you need to do is drag out a rectangle with the text tool, and start typing. Does text work at all for you? At what point in the process is word wrap failing? Can you drag out the rectangle, and once you’ve done that can you type into the box? Does any text appear at all, or does it always occupy one line?

Yes I can drag out a box and write in it, but the lines don’t wrap.

The characters just keep going and disappear.

Also, when I hit enter to wrap, all text to the right of the cursor disappears.

I also pasted it in and still no wrap. It’s driving me nutters!!

One way this could happen is if you had a large leading value set. The text wraps, but it is so far down that it appears to disappear.

Go into the character palette and select "Reset Character". Then try it out again and see if the text wraps correctly.
