I am unable to click on the four justify text options in the paragraph pulldown under the WINDOW tab. Therefore, I can’t justify any of my text.

Any suggestions?

You need to ‘draw out’ a text-box with your type tool in order to use the text alignment options, Allison

Or without having to do your text over again, have the Type Layer and the Type Tool active at the same time, then hover over the type in the canvas view and Right – Click (Mac: Control + Click) and from the context menu items choose ‘Convert to Paragraph Text’.

Alternative method:
Layer/Type/Convert To Paragraph Text
(and vice versa to convert from Paragraph tp Point Text.)
