Using Windows, Photoshop CS some keyboard functions work like holding shift to draw straight lines… but shorcuts like Shift+F5, Ctrl+A and all the other don’t work… no effect whatsoever…

I don’t believe it’s a keyboard issue as Photoshop is the only program that don’t recognize these shortcuts.

I’ve tried to change them, Edit > keyboard shortcuts, but it seems that it didn’t "feel" the buttons, as if I wasn’t pressing anything…

If someone could help, I would be grateful.

Hello Filipe,

Yours is the 3rd instance of this question I’ve seen in just the past few days…there must be a new wave of upgrades or purchases of PS CS going on. 🙂

The problem you’re seeing is addressed in the FAQs and has been identified as due to either of two causes: 1) your keyboard driver needs to be updated (notably for Logitech keyboards) or 2) an activation "crack" is being used and must be removed, with PSCS activated properly.

Regards,

Daryl
