When uninstalling PSCS from a PC, does it tell Adobe that my license is now freed up? If not, is there a provision on the valid licenses page that I can go to to "invalide" or free up the license? I got a new PC, and I don’t want to lose a license on PSCS. Without deactivating, Adobe will look at my registrations as my 2 total allowed licenses, and I don’t want to lose one, since the older PC will be given to my son, and not using PS. Looked in FAQ, but no help there.

Thanks for any help,
Wynn

No, you can’t deactivate. You get two activations with no questions asked and IIRC there was some talk about being able to activate even more than that over time. IOW, the allowance is there for users to get new computers.

Of course, until you actually try it, you’ll never know. Even if the activation doesn’t go through, you should be able to call Adobe and get a new activation code for a new PC.
