I have a photo and would like to know how to cut bits out and use them in another photo. I have had some success with the crop function but i am wanting to cut out oval shapes…can this be done!

Use Elliptical Marquee Tool to Select your oval. In Win, Ctrl-c (Copy), Ctrl-n (New Image, which will be automatically sized for the material in your clipboard – you can resize it if you wish), Ctrl-v (Paste). If you wish more ovals of material, keep your files open and repeat the process, except for the Ctrl-n. Each oval will come into the document as a separate Layer.
