image>Adjust>hue saturation question

If I make a selection around an eyeball that is blue and choose image>Adjust>hue saturation and choose blues from the drop down and increase the saturation, shouldn’t this increase the blueness of the eyes? Will this restrict the color that can be changed to only blue? So if there were some reds in the selection, would this change also?

When you select ‘blue’ any adjustments will affect those pixels in the band indicated in the top colour strip. By moving the sliders you can expand or contract that range. The bottom colour strip will indicate what is happening to those pixels.
