In the CS3 bridge when I click on a tumbnail on the bottom of the screen the image above only fills a portion of the screen. My computer’s desktop is visable through the remaining portion. Why does this happen and what an I do? I have tried reinstalling Photoshop and this still occurs.

under preferences
there are settings to change the color of the interface backgrounds

I was not able to make the backgrounds transparent
BUT if you have it set to system, and you have your system set on transparent windows, maybe that is it??
