This has probably been asked before……sorry.
i reformated my hard drive…therefore having to reinstall all my

after installing photoshop 7 and then trying to install to 7.1. i keep getting the messgae that…adobe photoshop 7.1 update program cannot find adobe photoshop7.0 etc. please attempt to locate adobe photoshop again or cancel the update.

i have tried reinstalling PS 7.0 restarting the pc….but doesnt work.
any advice??

It seems you may have a compromised S.N. Contact Adobe for a new one.

Jacqui there is a cure.
Someone recently posted the cure for this problem but unfortunately I did not keep the message.
I do however have the fix on disk. It involved modifying the

program with a next editor and it worked a treat.
