Which thumbnails? The ones in the Open dialog box? The ones in the File Browser? The ones on your grandma’s 486DX running Windows 3.1?

Seriously, a little more info would be good.

I have merged your duplicate topic with this one (Sorry if that makes Howard’s (HO’s) reply somewhat incongruous).

Try turning off high-rez previews in the Browser and if possible, leave the FB to run overnight to cache all images on your drive
