Hi all,

Been awhile but I’m back to ask one question. I got PS-CS as a gift from a client that works for Adobe for my B-Day in January and while I really like the functionality and the improvements up from PS 7 it’s starting up really slowly. In PS-7 I had just as many scripts, plugins and goodies to load up but the program was up in running in about 10 seconds (give or take) but PS-CS takes around 30 seconds to invoke fully.

Is this a known issue?? I’m hoping a patch will fix it if it is.

Thanks!

Richard 😉

I have a thread about a 7 minute startup time.

Aaron Martone "Photoshop CS doesn’t Run" 4/20/04 11:28am </cgi-bin/webx?13/17>

Is the same problem you’re gettin? If so, does the resolution (er, workaround), help you?

I just noted 20 to 30 seconds on my machine in Aaron’s thread as well.

Seems SOP.
