How get pure black & White

I have two pages which I would like to print on glossy paper. One of them is "print" and one of them is a colored photo. I’d like to print the "print" page in black and white – and the photo in grayscale. How do I do this?

yeh – but Xtones (including tri’s and quads) mean Greyscaling first

Some of the purists fear or seek to avoid compromising 8-bit channels and look for ways to provide grayscale images with minimised data loss

There is the usual H&S option and then there is a tutorial by the one, the only. the one and only Russel Brown
