ERROR-" cannot open file, not a valid photoshop file"

I have a couple photoshop documents that i have been working on with photoshop cs. but all of sudden i keep getting an error message saying "cannot open file, not a valid photoshop file." Most of the images i can open but there are three that are getting this message. i have the folder encrypted under magic folders, but all of the others are still working. Any ideas would be great.

First, try disabling the encryption.

Then check your hard disk for damage.
