Ok …. I was sent some images that are way too small for web but we have to use anyway. One major problem is though a couple of them are the wrong color and texture. Usually I would have no problem changing the color for a swatch with curves and etc but they were went as 300X219 unfortunately.

Imgs I was sent:

what I would like it to be close to:

< http://www.bornshoes.com/ecpublic/020/images/items/DB0322lg. jpg>

Does anyone have any resources/links on changing texture and/or a curve for the colors maybe?

Any help Greatly apreciated!
Thanks,
ark

Make a selection around the item you want to change the color of. You can use the pen tool or the ruby lift brush so paint a selection (quickmask mode) and then fill the selection with a from a eyedropper sample of the other picture…

Fill the selection with the color in a new layer on top and use a blend mode so it takes on the pattern…. Linear burn worked well in the sample I sent back.

I turned the white flower into the orange one on the other desired picture.

you can use hue/ saturation, levels , curve anything to tweek and adjust. you can add a slight reflection by painting a bit of white and filters… etc

as far as the texture, that is just as simple other blend modes and making a texture layer the same way with black, then using screen mode to be rid of the black tones…. just many many many ways of doing things.. . too much to list.

hope this helps give you some ideas.. I would be happy to help further if needed

take care
