Hi,
I’m getting hopelessly confused as to the nature of Adobe Version Cue and Adobe Bridge. What exactly are their purposes and features and, especially, what are the differences between them?

If someone could help me, even by pointing me to a link (other than the Adobe website!) I would be really grateful!

Have you tried Google there are some good tutorials. Also, I think the version CS3 video has some very good info whether you are using the Beta or prior.

Version Cue as the name applies, has something to do with "versions".

Keeping track of versions is something programmers are usually more experienced in, and in a busy design studio, where more than one person is working on the same file, it can be very useful.

For one or two people working together, it doesn’t serve much purpose, IMHO.

Not a lot of verbiage there, but you get the idea.

Adobe Bridge is a file manager for displaying folders and thumbnails. It doesn’t do "version". One can manipulate and run ‘pre-recorded’ actions from Bridge, as well as manipulate the XML meta data <ie> copyright information, and/or your custom strings.
