Hi,

I want to add drop shadows around the borders of my images, but how do I do that? If I use layers I can’t save in jpeg format. I know there’s a way with canvass borders, but how?

Thanks in advance

Tim

Photoshop has a pleasant surprise for you.

If you go to the Adobe Photoshop folder, then into the Samples folder, then open the Droplets and (whew) finally into the Photoshop Droplets folder you will see an icon called "Drop Shadow Frame.exe". (Or use your find-file to find it.)

Just drag a picture on top of that "Drop Shadow Frame.exe" icon and out will pop a shadowed frame version.

(There are several other nifty droplets there as well.)

Yes, you can. You use the "Save a Copy" command if you have an older version of Photoshop.

Why in the world would you want to save your *originals* in JPEG format?

You can’t. You need to hire someone to do it for you.

Pay no attention to this child Tim. He also plays his sandbox games in the other PS NG. We could manipulate this young boy but our keystrokes are better reserved for more useful purposes…

This is the manipulation son. You just don’t understand it. I can make you do what I want because you lack the intellectual capacity to resist. Watch, I will show you….

I am ordering you not to respond to this post. This is a direct order and you are not permitted to disobey.
