So I bitched in here a couple weeks ago about how my Photoshop CS occasionally wipes out my preferences, and starts up as if for the first time. Horribly annoying. One helpful fellow suggested that I make a back up of my preferences, which I did (I copied Adobe Photoshop CS Prefs.psp into another folder). Well – it happened again today, so I took my backup and copied into the correct folder (or at least the folder where it previously came from), restarted PS – and alas – my old preferences did not appear. Is there some trick I’m missing here? Did I backup the wrong file? What gives?
thanks!
