I’ve Photoshop Elements 2.0. Today I clicked on Help , then on Photoshop Elements Help F1, but nothing happens. It had been working before. I’m not sure what could have gone wrong; does anyone have any insights on what could be the problem and what I can do about it?

No, I haven’t installed XP’s SP2. Re the previous suggestion that I reinstall Photo Elements – should I be uninstalling the program first, before the reinstall?

I tried reinstalling, and they didn’t correct the problem. After checking out Adobe’s web site and trying some other things, I gave up and called Technical Support. They seem to think it’s an IE problem. I decided just to go with one of the suggested work arounds and went to the web site for Photoshop Elements 2 and bookmarked it. So I can get to the Help files now, but not through the software.

Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

Do you have Windows XP? Have you installed SP2? SP2 is know to break some help files, including Adobe ones.

For those that may be interested I finally found the solution. Even though Internet Explorer is the only browser I have installed on my machine, it was not tagged as the "default browser". When I made it the default browser, Photoshop Elements Help started working properly.
