removing colors?

Hi…please see the image here so you’ll know what i’m talking about. http://www.coastalconsulting.ca/map_sample.jpg

OK..it’s a map with varying grades of color. You will see blue lines for the rivers, lakes etc and on the far right you see some black lines. I need to know if there is a quick / easy way to remove all colors but the blue and black?

Use Select Color. Use the slider to get a good bit of it. Cut it to a new layer. You may have to try it a few times to get it right. then delete the old layers.
