How to create a wild boar in photoshop?

Hi gang,

I’m new to photoshop and computer graphics in general.
I need to draw an animal — a wild boar.
I’ve read a few tutorials on how to draw some animals in photoshop, but basics like a rabbit or horse.

I’m not really sure where to start.
Should I draw a wild boar on paper, then scan it and edit with photoshop? Or, is there a good tutorial floating around that I haven’t yet found?

Any help or advice is appreciated.

If it were me, I’d run a google, find a good piece of non-copyrighted clipart, and work from there.

But then, I don’t draw. Actual illustrators might have a better solutions.

Draw a mean looking rabbit but without the long fuzzy ears and tail. Then add a pig’s nose and tail, voila, you have a wild boar.
