I have a problem with text. I cannot get it to look sharp enough when I use a larger size for a logo for the web. Even using anti-aliasing it is still blurred. Any ideas for razor sharp type in a logo?

Thanks

What resolution are you designing in? Even for web stuff, I design at 300 dpi at full size or larger, and then reduce it to whatever size I need.

Not a surprise due to the fact that ati-aliasing is just that….smoothing edges by blurring.

Ian,
Photoshop is a bitmap- you will never, ever get the sharp edge you’re looking for. Use a vector based graphics program for text…Quark or Illustrator come to mind.
