Hi,

I am looking for a simple application which would allow me to draw 3D solids and other geometric figures by entering numerical parameters for angles, curves, distances and so forth. Also, I would like be able to arrange 3D objects precisely in space. An animation capability would be a definite plus as well. Does such a program exist? BTW, I am running WXP Professional.

Try POV-ray. It is totally free. It has a purely script based interface which is not too difficult to get you head around and there is a dedicated news server that is very active.

Animation is easy but it only renders single frames ypou ahve to use a separate program to join them together.
