I now have a decent new monitor (Viewsonic) and a great printer (Epson R800). I have had pretty good success with the colors of the prints matching what I see on the screen, but the gamma is off (prints darker) no matter which gamma software I try (Adobe, WizWYG, etc.).
I would like to purchase a hardware based calibration solution. Is there any website that compares the various types and compares them with regard to value? I am what would be considered an advanced amateur, but would like to see some more accurate results from the printer/monitor combination. (Generally using either PSCS and Qimage to print from.) Thanks for any suggestions.
