Looking for books so I can learn photoshop. Have access to latest version at friends office, but not training or tutorials. Need to learn this to improve my job versatility.

Tom,

There are a lot of books that you can purchase through amazon. Jus type in "photoshop." If you are looking to save money, you can alway just crash the library & check-out everything there is –

Try starting out with Photoshop WOW. It actually reads sorta well for a beginner. It really has some great chapters that are readable…as well as a CD with decent tutorials. Another first would be adobe’s own Classroom in a book….its kinda dry…but covers all the basics.

Then move onto Photoshop Magic. After those three…you will be able to sort thru the numerous books out their on your own.
