Hi there,

I’d like to have a go at creating one of those image mosaics – like the Star Wars posters you can buy from HMV, where they have a main image, and when you look closely, this main image is made up from hundreds of smaller images. I’ve got an image library of about 5,000 digital images, so this part shouldn’t be a problem.

My query is which software is best for the job? I did a quick Google search and came up with quite a few pieces of software, but would rather cut to the chase and work from a recommendation that others in this group might have had good results from?

Or alternatively, is there a plug-in for Photoshop 7 that will do this?

Thanks for any help,

Ste

arcSoft’s Photomontage – though I think there’s a limit on the number of photos you can use…

Thanks for the links Boris – the comparisons are especially useful, this should be a great help for in choosing my preferred software.
