I am the proud owner of a new Wacom Intuos pen tablet. I was looking forward to playing with it in Photoshop CS2, but now I have an apparent problem.

Using a brush, the width of the line is nicely controlled by the pressure of the pen, so obviously PS knows about the pen, but ..

….when I look at the Brush palette I was expecting to see a bunch of controls for Brush Dynamics. In fact I don’t – I just see the same controls as for my mouse. It looks like maybe I have to "activate" these controls somehow, but I have no idea how.

Any advice?

I see choices for the pen in the brush palette, in the drop down boxes off
fade
pen pressure etc

make sure you are looking at the right brush dialog, the one to the right near layer comp area, not just the tool option sliders at left

And, if the OP doesn’t see it there, he/she should go to Windows>Brushes, and make sure that it is checked. All of the Dynamics settings will be in that palette. Another location could be buried beneath other palettes, depending on how the monitor(s) is setup.
