Hi all,
I have a project coming up which involves the parodying of very kitsch imagery, i.e. like 70′ airbrush art, athena posters etc… All my own links are to sites that archive or search ‘reasonable’ quality imagery, but now I come to look, not much about ‘kak’ imagery at all!
Anyone know of such a source? I need stuff like badly painted sunsets, metallic airbrushed text, bad prog-rock LP covers… Even portraits of football stars like u get on Panini stickers!! The list of possible itmes is very long.. As long as it is in questionable taste, it may qualify! As it is for print, my only criteria is that the source imagery itself must be of good enough quality even if the item that is depicted is not….
Any links or sources would be greatly appreciated,
