I am impressed by this newsgroup but was wondering about other news servers dedicated to Photoshop and maybe CS2? Quite suprised by how few newsgroups
I can find for Photoshop considering its global popularity….

There are several large discussion groups at www.adobeforums.com . Although the forums are web based, it is possible to configure things to read articles using your newsreader.

First you have to register at www.adobeforums.com. Be sure to visit your preferences page to set your e-mail address for privacy.

I access through nntp in Outlook Express (Mac OS 9.2.2). First I added a bogus e-mail account to match my e-mail privacy address; just name, e-mail address, SMTP: adobeforums.com. It’s incomplete info which is fine since it’s not used for e-mail.

Tools>Accounts>News and click New
Account name: Adobe Forums
E-mail acct: (choose the bogus one)
News server: adobefourms.com
check Server requires log on
ID: your Adobe forums ID
Password: your Adobe forums password

This should atleast give you an idea how to go about it. I’m not using specific newsreader software so can’t help there.
