Free Transform

When I use Free Transfer and after I’m finished the object shifts slightly.

Does anyone know if that can be corrected. I’m using CS2.

Actually, it doesn’t. It may appear to if you are zoomed out, but if you zoom in to 100% and do the transform, you will see that it doesn’t. The slight shift is an optical illusion caused by the way Photoshop displays the transformed part of the image on screen when you are zoomed out.
