I have a Panasonic DVD-S35 player. Jpegs which have been saved in Photoshop 7 will play fine, and any other jpeg to that matter. With jpegs saved from Photoshop CS they will not read. I don’t know if this is the case with other dvd players or not.

Is this a bug? A jpeg format upgrade? Is there a patch maybe to fix this problem?

Sounds like a bad cd/dvd.

But the dvd player will play jpegs from the same disk which have been saved using photoshop 7, windows picture viewer etc. They work fine. It is only jpegs which have been saved with photoshop cs which will not play. I have tried more than one cd also, with the same result.

Ian,

What happens if you save without previews?

Make sure you have saved with regular Jpeg and not Jpeg 2000 (available in CS). Perhaps the player will not read Jpeg 2000.
