I am doing an illustration job, and the company I am working for is out-of-state, so everything I do has to be scanned and emailed. He wants all the images to be 600 dpi, and 5.75 X 8.75 inches. When I scan my image in at 600 dpi, it is the actual size of the picture. I have tried resizing the image and resizing the canvas, but the company is telling me that when I email them the image and they open it, it’s HUGE…like 45 inches? I don’t know how to get the image to stay at the size I set it to. When I open it up in Photoshop, it tells me that the size IS 5.75 X 8.75.
