Recently I took some photos with my Nikon D100 and the white balance was incorrectly set. Now I have a some otherwise nice photos with a blue tint. Any suggestions on how best to correct this sort of thing in PS CS would be appreciated?

Also, any suggestions for what default values to set for the auto color command would be appreciated?

Correcting colour balance after the fact could IMO be done with curves. Call up the curves [Ctrl-M], and select the middle pipet. Then, on your image, sample on something that ought to be neutral.

Edit: I have PS 7, but it shouldn’t be that different.
