I am having trouble trying to get the background color to remain white in my tables – only in Netscape 6.0 and previous versions. Has anyone run into this?? <http://dpaweb.hss.state.ak.us/training/AJCN/>

I don’t know about NS 6, but in the earlier versions CSS was poorly supported, and you are depending on it to give the color. You might want to also explore the old bgcolor tag for the table.

If that doesn’t work, you might want to follow the old trick of using a tiled background image that is just a gif of a solid color. Try this in, and out of, CSS and see if it gets you where you want to go.
